Gerry Fagoaga Marriage and Family Therapist South Pasadena
Gerry understands that you are looking for an alternative to a destructive court battle in getting a divorce; that you want to be in control of what happens to your future financial resources, and your children, if any, instead of the court. She also realizes that you are looking to be treated with respect and dignity throughout the divorce process. Gerry can help you to avoid court, take charge of obtaining a financial settlement that’s fair and equitable, maintain a good relationship with your children during and after the divorce, and preserve your integrity and values throughout the divorce process.
Gerry has assisted over a thousand persons as an educator and therapist, and now a divorce coach and child specialist. Having experienced the trauma of divorce first hand without this alternative being available at the time, Gerry particularly empathisizes with the pain involved. Gerry’s compassion, insight, training and experience can guide you, can empower you throughout the divorce process, so that in the end, you can go forward with your life as emotionally whole a person as possible.
- In a divorce case recently, a couple with two young children was helped to develop a parenting plan in which the children spent adequate time with each parent. This couple was enabled to preserve their financial resources, instead of spending them on a time-consuming and costly court battle.
- In another case, a family with three teenage boys, a father who often worked long hours, and a stay-at-home mom, was guided to develop a parenting plan that addressed the diverse needs of teenagers, the father’s work schedule, and the mother choosing to pursue a long-desired career. This family could have experienced a very painful and costly divorce in court, but instead experienced a divorce that appropriately addressed everyone’s needs.
You too, with Gerry’s assistance, can successfully experience this unique divorce process.
Gerry is a founding member of the Alliance of Divorce Professionals.

Hello, my name is Thomas Carver. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I specialize in Divorce Dynamics focusing on the treatment of trauma that quite often is experienced while divorcing. I am a strong, supportive advocate for people that are going through this very emotional process. I help them to stay centered when the need to and give them a place to be vulnerable & heal also. The Family Courts and/or Family Law Attorneys frequently refer clients to me for Co-Parenting Therapy because I have a history of developing custom parenting plans that serve the children's needs and at the same time are very sensitive to each parent's dedication to their relationship with their children. I have 12 years experience as a parent educator and have been trained in child development and attachment theory. Another role that I fill for the Family Courts is Reunification Therapist for cases where a parent has not had contact with their child and they need a Therapist to aid in the paced, safe process of reconnecting. I also provide Supervised Therapeutic Supervision when the courts feel that it is needed. These are all child-centered in their approach and implementation.
